Hourglass

Hourglass came together out of a shared frustration: the same tired setlists everywhere we went. Same twenty songs. Same jukebox. We wanted to play the records we actually wore out — the harmony-rich 70s classics, the Texas and Southern rock, the FM-radio cuts that deserve more love.

We're proud old musicians, each with big footprints in Austin music. Decades of it. The kind of players who can read a room, hold a groove, and make a Saturday night feel like a Saturday night. We bring professional quality and authentic performances of the classics you love but rarely hear live.

We play the rooms we actually want to play: festivals, corporate events, indoor rooms, and the well-paying circuit from Sun City in Georgetown down through Lago Vista and Lakeway — great rooms and great crowds that the cover-band market somehow keeps ignoring.
